If you’re a Google Docs power user, today’s update to Spanning Backup will make backing up and restoring your docs even faster.
Some people use Google Docs for the occasional spreadsheet or as a convenient way to share notes in a small group. But other people have made Google Docs a central part of their productivity regimen, and store thousands of documents carefully organized into nested collections (née “folders”). And lots of those users use Spanning Backup.
For Google Docs power users, we’ve just rolled out an update that dramatically speeds up the process of selecting collections and docs to restore or exclude from backups.
You’ll notice the difference in the Settings and Restore tabs where you navigate your collections.
